In a side gusset pouch, the two side panels are folded inwards. The bag lies flat when empty, and when filled the gussets open out into a prismatic form, so more product fits on the same footprint.
The quad seal option, with all four corners sealed, helps the pack hold its shape for longer. It is widely used for coffee, tea, flour, pet food and powders. The side panels can serve as extra print area.
